Pharma trade group and patient organization pressure Congress with TV ad campaigns

As Con­gress re­turns from Au­gust re­cess, phar­ma and health in­dus­try groups are mak­ing cas­es for why health­care costs should be low­er or more trans­par­ent aimed at law­mak­ers through TV and dig­i­tal ad­ver­tis­ing. 

New to the air­waves to­day are two com­mer­cials fea­tur­ing re­al pa­tients who live with chron­ic con­di­tions — and high-priced drug bills — from the ad­vo­ca­cy group Pa­tients For Af­ford­able Drugs Now (P4AD­Now).
