House lawmakers pressed the CMS on a recent report showing that Medicare beneficiaries pay more for prescription drugs than their plan sponsors as they doubled down on the need for PBM reforms during a hearing on Tuesday.
The House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee met to discuss a slate of 25 bills aimed at lowering the cost of healthcare for seniors, including bills cracking down on PBMs and legislation allowing Medicare to cover obesity treatments.
