Pfizer is conducting layoffs at its Boulder, CO research facility, months after announcing a retreat from a significant chunk of its early-stage research.
The permanent separations will occur on Dec. 4, though Pfizer has not disclosed an exact number, according to Colorado’s WARN system. A company spokesperson declined to provide additional information on the number of layoffs and units affected. Some research programs will be transitioned to other facilities as part of the restructuring, according to the spokesperson.
