Sheryl Sandberg-backed AI data platform launches to personalize fertility care

Sh­eryl Sand­berg’s new in­vest­ment firm has picked a health da­ta start­up that hopes to im­prove fer­til­i­ty care as its first health­care in­vest­ment.

Cer­cle, which launched on Wednes­day, us­es AI to or­ga­nize anonymized da­ta such as a pa­tient’s in­take records and med­ical his­to­ry, pic­tures of em­bryos and oth­er in­for­ma­tion in­to a graph that shows clin­i­cians and re­searchers how da­ta points con­nect with each oth­er.
