Sens. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) are hoping the third time’s the charm on a bill to force pharma companies to list drug prices in advertising. The two legislators requested an expedited Senate unanimous consent on Tuesday for their co-sponsored Drug-price Transparency for Consumers Act (DTC Act) that Sen. Mike Crapo (R-ID) objected to.
The current bill was reintroduced in April. However, it follows two failed similar efforts by the senators in 2018 and 2020.
