Biotech job market bottoms out, hinting at potential comeback, according to Jefferies

The num­ber of biotech job post­ings tum­bled last year, but post­ings ap­peared to sta­bi­lize in the last few months of 2023, in­di­cat­ing that a re­bound for the biotech sec­tor is pos­si­ble this year, ac­cord­ing to in­vest­ment bank Jef­feries.

“Biotech job posts may now be back on the pre-Covid growth trend, a sig­nal of con­fi­dence in fu­ture per­for­mance,” Jef­feries an­a­lysts wrote in a note Thurs­day night.
