Longtime ICER president Steve Pearson will step down at the end of this year, handing the reins to COO and executive VP Sarah Emond, the cost-effectiveness watchdog announced on Wednesday.
Pearson will remain in his role through the end of 2023 to facilitate the transition, following 17 years at the helm. After the transition, Pearson will remain at ICER as an advisor through 2024. Deputy COO Ellie Adair will take over as COO.
