Presentation
A 48-year-old man visited his doctor about burning, slightly painful, and itchy red spots that began developing on his legs 3 days prior. He was not on any medications, and had no recent history of trauma, but did report that he had a sore throat that preceded the rash by a few days. On examination, palpable purpura was seen on the legs. Can you diagnose the patient?
