Abridge raised a Series C just four months after its last round, as investors remain interested in betting big on health AI even in a tougher market for health tech.
Abridge chief operating officer Julia Chapin told Endpoints News the startup’s $150 million round is one of the largest investments in health AI so far. Pittsburgh-based Abridge converts visits between patients and medical professionals into notes using AI, competing with players like Microsoft’s Nuance, to save clinicians time during clinical documentation.
