Apnimed hires Pfizer, Biohaven veteran as chief commercial officer

Ap­n­imed named a new chief com­mer­cial of­fi­cer on Mon­day, tap­ping Gra­ham Goodrich, a vet­er­an bio­phar­ma mar­ket­ing ex­ec­u­tive, to start build­ing out a team to com­mer­cial­ize its oral sleep ap­nea can­di­date now in Phase III stud­ies.

Goodrich joins Ap­n­imed from Pfiz­er, where he was VP, US mi­graine fran­chise lead, hav­ing joined from Bio­haven af­ter Pfiz­er bought the mi­graine port­fo­lio. Be­fore that, Goodrich spent more than 11 years at Boehringer In­gel­heim, lead­ing mar­ket­ing for both its res­pi­ra­to­ry and di­a­betes port­fo­lios at dif­fer­ent times.
