Just days after Congress passed the FDA’s fiscal year 2024 appropriations package at the 11th hour, the Biden administration is asking for a bump in FDA funding for fiscal year 2025.

The administration’s FY25 budget request, unveiled Monday afternoon, includes $7.2 billion in total funding for the agency, split between appropriations and user fees, an overall increase of about $495 million.
