Tennessee faces significant challenges related to food insecurity, with one in seven residents struggling to access healthy food. This partnership aims to address these issues by providing BCBST members with the essential resources to improve their nutrition and overall health.
By combining fresh food deliveries with health education, FarmboxRx and BCBST are working to reduce health disparities and promote preventative care. The program will focus on reaching vulnerable populations, including those in urban areas, who often face barriers to accessing nutritious food.
