The clock is ticking as pharma companies wait to see what 10 Medicare Part D drugs will be up for the first round of price negotiation under the Inflation Reduction Act.
The CMS is expected to unveil the list early next week ahead of an event on Tuesday, unnamed sources told Politico. Under the new law enacted last summer, the agency is required to publish the list no later than Sept. 1.
CMS declined to provide a more specific timeline for the list’s publication.
