Digital health company DarioHealth buys mental health startup Twill as consolidation hits the industry

Chron­ic health con­di­tions man­age­ment plat­form Dar­i­o­Health is ac­quir­ing men­tal health app Twill in a deal worth around $40 mil­lion.

Un­der the terms of the cash-and-stock deal, Dario paid $10 mil­lion in cash and will is­sue 10 mil­lion shares of com­mon stock to Twill share­hold­ers, ac­cord­ing to the press re­lease. Twill em­ploy­ees and man­age­ment will get an ad­di­tion­al 2.5 mil­lion shares, Dar­i­o­Health pres­i­dent Rick An­der­son told End­points News.
