Doctor’s Family Sues Disney Over Food Allergy Death; Doctor Skipped Payroll Taxes?

The family of New York doctor Kanokporn Tangsuan, DO, is suing Disney following her death, allegedly from eating a meal that wasn’t allergen-free. Tangsuan was highly allergic to nuts and dairy and reportedly died from anaphylaxis after eating at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs. (FOX 35)

Florida doctor Mary Watson, MD, has agreed to pay $60,000 to settle claims that she wrongfully prescribed a diet pill called phendimetrazine and failed to maintain patient records for those prescriptions. Watson previously surrendered her DEA registration, according to federal prosecutors.
