A new campaign is advocating for better obesity care coverage, especially for women, and it’s backed by Eli Lilly funding.
The Alliance for Women’s Health and Prevention (AWHP) is bringing together 10 partners for the “EveryBODY Covered” effort to encourage women to ask employers, insurers and legislators to cover obesity care, especially medications. Lilly is a member of AWHP’s corporate roundtable and provided initial funding for the campaign, a Lilly spokesperson said in an email to Endpoints News.
