Robert Kramer, the CEO of contract manufacturer Emergent BioSolutions, is retiring after more than two decades, including leading the company through a sometimes-turbulent Covid-19 pandemic.
Kramer’s retirement is effective immediately, Emergent said Tuesday, and Haywood Miller, a managing director at the consulting firm Berkeley Research Group, will be serving as interim CEO. Emergent said it will use a search firm to look for a new leader, but didn’t give a timeline on filling the seat.
