FDA says four doses of Lilly’s diabetes drug Mounjaro will be in short supply through April

The FDA said Tues­day that short­ages of three high­er dos­es of Eli Lil­ly’s type 2 di­a­betes drug Moun­jaro aren’t ex­pect­ed to ease un­til May, and an­oth­er low­er dose is now in short sup­ply as well.

Ac­cord­ing to the FDA’s web­site, the 7.5, 10.0, 12.5, and 15.0 mg dos­es of Moun­jaro will have “lim­it­ed avail­abil­i­ty” through April due to in­creased de­mand. In Feb­ru­ary, the reg­u­la­tor said there would be sup­ply is­sues for the three high­er dos­es through ear­ly March.
