If par­ents of chil­dren with autism spec­trum dis­or­der are al­ready tak­ing care of them every day, For­ta thinks they should be trained and com­pen­sat­ed for it.

The San Fran­cis­co-based start­up raised $55 mil­lion in Se­ries A fund­ing to train par­ents to be care­givers, use AI to per­son­al­ize a treat­ment pro­gram and ex­pand their mod­el to oth­er chron­ic con­di­tions such as Alzheimer’s dis­ease.
