Across the world, funding for digital health startups and deals made in the third quarter of this year has dropped to the lowest level in nearly a decade.
Digital health startups globally raised $3 billion across 247 deals, according to market intelligence platform CB Insights’ Q3 State of Digital Health report published last week. But even as funding for digital health slows down in the U.S., Asia and Europe saw digital health funding increase compared to the same quarter last year. The amount raised dropped 14% compared to the same period last year to a record low since 2016.
