Health plan startup Centivo acquires primary care operator Eden Health

Cen­ti­vo, a com­pa­ny that pro­vides health plans for self-in­sured em­ploy­ers, said Mon­day that it bought vir­tu­al pri­ma­ry care start­up Eden Health.

The deal brings to­geth­er health­care de­liv­ery and fi­nanc­ing with a goal to dri­ve a bet­ter ex­pe­ri­ence and more af­ford­abil­i­ty for pa­tients, and it comes as em­ploy­ers in­creas­ing­ly look be­yond one-off dig­i­tal health so­lu­tions to­ward com­pa­nies that can solve mul­ti­ple prob­lems.
