Health care CEOs keep avoiding Trump
Thanks to the federal laws of this country, we can know how much money someone is individually giving to political candidates. It’s especially instructive to know where business executives are putting their dollars — it signals their politics, which informs how they run their companies and what they want to get out of federal policymaking.

When it comes to the CEOs of major hospital systems and health insurance companies, a vast majority are either not donating any money to the presidential campaigns or are only giving to their companies’ own political action committees. And for the few that are donating to a presidential campaign, it’s only to Vice President Harris — yet again, health care executives are completely avoiding any ties to former President Trump.
