Funding for startups that sell reproductive and maternal health services to employers slumped after a pandemic-era spike.
The total funding for these startups fell to $54 million in 2023 compared to $65.5 million in 2019, according to data obtained by Endpoints News from Rock Health. The research and venture firm tracks companies that have raised at least $2 million in venture capital and meet its definition of digital health, or companies that build and sell tech, including companies that are paired with a service as long as tech is part of that service.
