Johnson & Johnson is prepared to take its talc litigation to the Supreme Court as early as the first term of 2024, depending on a potential Third Circuit appeals decision, executives said during the company’s third-quarter earnings call Tuesday.
Faced with mounting lawsuits alleging its talc products contained asbestos and caused cancer, J&J spun the liabilities into a separate company called LTL Management, which filed for bankruptcy in 2021.
