Leveraging FHIR for Enhanced Data Exchange
CommonWell Health Alliance, recently recognized as a Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN), continues to lead the way in interoperability by incorporating new use cases, such as Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®). Labcorp’s participation will be pivotal in building and deploying FHIR data exchange at scale for testing among members, ultimately enhancing the exchange of clinical laboratory data.
Implementation and Future Goals
Labcorp is currently in the early stages of implementation and aims to be fully operational as a service adopter by mid-2025. This collaboration will further advance FHIR interoperability and improve the accessibility and usability of crucial health data.
