Life science VC Vertex Ventures HC raises $200M in new fund

Vertex Ventures HC is launching its largest fund yet, with $200 million and co-led by former pharma exec Christine Brennan.

Vertex Ventures HC (VVHC) said Tuesday that it launched its third fund, which will be run by Lori Hu, a founding member of VVHC, and Brennan, former chief business officer at Vitae Pharmaceuticals and the former head of strategy and operations of business development at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research.
