Make the Diagnosis: Can You Diagnose This Painful, Tingling Lesion?

Presentation

A 55-year-old man visited his doctor for a growth that developed on his right leg, at the site of previous surgery, 2 months prior. The patient mentioned that the lesion was painful and that he experienced a tingling sensation in that area. On examination, a solitary, brownish-red smooth papule was seen on the center of a scar. The patient appeared well and had no systemic symptoms. A shave biopsy revealed irregularly arranged nerve fascicles and fibrosis between nerve fascicles. Can you diagnose the patient?
