Biocon Generics, a subsidiary of India-based manufacturer Biocon, has acquired an oral medicine production facility in Cranbury, NJ, from generic manufacturer Eywa Pharma for $7.7 million.
The deal closed on Sept. 1, and staff at the site will transfer to Biocon Generics, according to a press release. The site can produce two billion tablets per year, but no details on what exactly will be made were disclosed.
