The Alzheimer’s Association is working with the Ad Council and ad agency Lopez Negrete Communications on a new campaign to increase early detection of the disease and other dementias in the Hispanic community. The new public service announcements, called “Some Things Come with Age,” are available in both English and Spanish, and they celebrate the good things that come with age and highlight some changes that may be signs of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Hispanic Americans are 1.5 times more likely to develop Alzheimer’s than white Americans, according to the association’s 2023 facts and figures report.
