It is apparently easy being green if you’re a pharma company.
Seventeen pharma companies made Newsweek’s first-ever list of “greenest companies,” including many of the largest ones. Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, AbbVie, Bristol Myers Squibb and several others nabbed at least four or more stars to make the 2024 list, while Amgen, Gilead Sciences, Vertex, Seagen and Pfizer all notched perfect fives.
