MDMA Papers Retracted; School Bans Black Clothing; TikTok and Disordered Eating

On the heels of FDA’s rejection of midomafetamine (MDMA) for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the journal Psychopharmacology retracted three papers on MDMA-assisted therapy over data integrity concerns. (New York Times)

Depressive symptoms in adolescence persisted into young adulthood, a cohort study suggested. “Given this persistence, reducing the onset of depressive symptoms through primary prevention and mental health resources during the adolescent years is critical,” the study authors wrote in JAMA Network Open.
