Pharmacy operations startup Plenful raises $9M

Plen­ful, a start­up that’s try­ing to au­to­mate the work that goes on in­side health sys­tems’ and oth­er or­ga­ni­za­tions’ phar­ma­cies, has raised $9 mil­lion.

Besse­mer Ven­ture Part­ners led the round for the San Fran­cis­co-based start­up. Joy Liu, who pre­vi­ous­ly worked at the spe­cial­ty phar­ma­cy com­pa­ny Shields Health So­lu­tions and has per­son­al ex­pe­ri­ence help­ing a loved one nav­i­gate the world of spe­cial­ty phar­ma­cies, found­ed the com­pa­ny.
