Sanofi launched its “A Million Conversations” initiative last year with the goal to bridge the trust gap between the healthcare industry and marginalized communities. But the broad effort is more than just talk, and includes funding for college scholarships and community organization work, such as the first official group of Health Equity Accelerator winners announced recently.
The cohort of 10 nonprofits covers a range of Sanofi-targeted therapy areas with programs across hemophilia, flu, RSV, lung cancer, multiple myeloma, multiple sclerosis and type 1 diabetes. Each organization will receive $50,000 and yearlong access to Sanofi’s expertise.
