This time around, we note that Mestag Therapeutics hired Matthew Sleeman as chief scientific officer. Previously, he worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where he was vice president of research, immunology, and inflammation.
But all work and no play can make for a dull chief scientific officer.

So in his spare time, Sleeman enjoys going to art galleries. “I get inspired by great art,” he tells us. “One of my favorites is David Hockney. He’s traveled the world and does a lot of work on the iPad. He’s adopted new media and his paintings are so vibrant and creative.… He’s evolved, he’s not static. The colors are almost reminiscent of impressionist art but in a new modern style.…
