It’s official: General Catalyst is about to become the owner of a health system with 1,000 inpatient beds, a two-hospital healthcare system and outpatient centers across northeast Ohio.
On Wednesday, the VC firm’s Health Assurance Transformation Corporation (HATCo) said it had signed a letter of intent to acquire Akron, OH-based Summa Health.
